COMMUNITY PET CARE
Because Every Animal Deserves Love and Care
At Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary, we know just how much pets mean to their families. They’re companions, confidants, and part of what makes a house feel like home. But we also know that caring for pets can sometimes be a challenge, especially during tough times, and that our area is overrun with ferals and barn cats in need of basic preventative care, often for the first time. That’s why our Community Pet Care Program exists—to support animals in need of a little bit of help as well as the humans who love and want to protect them.
How We Support Companion Animals
Through this program, we aim to ease the financial, educational, and resource challenges that so many face, ensuring companion animals in our community receive the love and care they need to thrive.
Here’s how we’re making a difference:
Free Pet Pantry
No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pets. Our pet food distribution initiative helps provide high-quality food to cats and dogs in need. Food and treats are available in the Free Farm Stand, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a specific request or need help feed a feral colony.
Free Basic Veterinary Care
Access to preventative medical care is absolutely crucial for cats and dogs, but vet bills can be prohibitively expensive. Whether you are in need of a spay/neuter program for your own pet or are looking to TNR barn cats or ferals, we can help. We collaborate with local veterinary clinics to provide vaccinations, spays/neuters, and limited emergency care.
